Season Four - Week 2 - Top Ten Empty Season Four - Week 2 - Top Ten

Post  John The Brick Rose Sat Jul 19, 2008 8:58 pm

Back again with another addition of the Top Ten. With so many new teams, made up of some of our greatest wrestlers, the Top Ten is now almost half full of tag teams. Where this may seem a bit unfair when trying to figure out who's on top, tag teams are always listed together rather than solo participants.

1. The Management Planner (last week - 1)
No stopping a good executive decision, and the decision to put MP in the limelight continues to pay off for members of The Board. Is the CFWA champion an unstoppable force of power? Or is recession around the corner? With CFWAR looming around the corner, anything and everything is possible.

2. Wing of Chaos (last week - 2)
The dark angel of anarchy holds his spot this week, after toppling his latest challenger, rookie sensation of last season, Amen. It would appear that The Organization's shadowlord is not losing his grip on his rerise to power, clutching it almost as tightly as his grasp on the Tsunami Championship.

3. Frosty Chillingsworth (last week - 3)
The sinister sweets dealer retains his Wilcard title this week against the silent assasin Tsikenonwaristak, chalking up his first of five needed wins, as he heads higher up the ladder. The Organization's presence sends a chill through the roster of CFWA, and the Ice Cream Man is holding his own. Will anyone be able to turn up the heat, to send this man into total meltdown?

4. Chessman (last week - 4)
After a few weeks of planning, and strategizing, The chessman made his move. He made his presence known in interviews, but nothing was more explosive than Thursday Night's outing, where the logician jumped the security railing, and assaulted his rival The Management Planner. Is the Chessman ready to take down The Organization's King? Or will he be trampled like a pawn?

5. Far East Donkey Punch (last week - 7)
Let the critics say what they want, the tag team champions have proven themselves in a clean match against the number one contenders The Impact Players. Squall and Pedro, did what they said they were going to do. They went to the ring and showed the world that they deserved to be champions. Reminiscent of the former Tag Team Champions, Far East Donkey Punch have shed the asterix by their title win, and are now undisputedly the true champions. With CFWAR's Tag Elimination Chamber, will the
results be the same?

6. Crime and Punishment (last week - 5 and 6)
You've heard it said a hundred times. By Hook. By Crook. By . . . Swerve? The former tag team title holders pulled the most unexpected twist in CFWA history, playing Cory TUngen and the entire Organization for fools. Karze played his part, turning his back on his partner John Rose, only to find out that turned out to be nothing more than a plant. Karze let John Rose into the building on Thursday night and along with Chessman, left the Organization running. Will Crime pay off again for these two
wrestlers, or will they face a lifetime of Punishment?

7. Tsikenonwaristak (last week - Cool
Despite his loss to the Wildcard holder, Tsikenonwaristak has once again stepped up to be noticed. Aligning himself with the Rebellion. Making deals with the devils like John Rose and Karze, Tsiken and his new associate Tom Dudely may be the next tag team champions. Only time will tell where the silent assasin will strike next, or be struck down.

8. Titanium Rage (last week **)
Wrecking Ball and Dragonfist, one of two new teams in CFWA, have made their successful debut against fellow newcomes to the tag division Divine Xecution. Wrecking Ball has continued to prove himself as a high rising superstar, and this week's victory also clinched the long time feud between Dragonfist and Xecutioner, with Dragonfist gripping the victory ring. Could the tag divisions newcomers be involved in CFWAR? Or will they sink in a ball of raging blaze?

9. Divine Xecution (last week 9)
The Neck and The Xecutioner had a great showing against their opponents this week, and with The Xecutioners continuous heart and ambition to succeed, the new tag team division is up for grabs. Dropping one spot this week on the top ten, this team continues to rise in popularity among the fans. Much like their opponents this week, they will be fighting for a spot in CFWAR's Tag Elimination
Chamber. Will divinity prevail? Or will they be cut down in their prime?

10. Mask of Fury (last week **)
Mui bien. Great to see The Mask of fury climbing back from the abyss of losing. Taking the first knotch out of Timebomb's belt as the insane luchador begins to set his sights higher than mediocrety. with the war heating to a boil between The Rebellion and The Organization, The Mask has chosen his side, and is looking to make much more than an impact this time around.

Honorable Mentions:

Timebomb - Despite a loss against Mask of Fury, this superstar has a cult following growing in the CFWA. The Top Ten has a future for this young superstar, unless he burns out before he has a chance to explode

Manogre - In the last few weeks he's been beaten, broken, and bashed by guitars. Yet he still keeps on coming back. He may think he is the most hated man on the roster, but it's clear by the number of challengers coming for him, he may be considered a major threat.

Philadelphia Phighter - Much like Season 3, the rookies are fastly becoming the stars in the CFWA, and Philly continues to be one to be reckoned with. Defeating Biohazard this week, pushes him further into the spotlight. Where will he be next week?
