Season Three - Week 1 Top Ten Empty Season Three - Week 1 Top Ten

Post  John The Brick Rose Sun Jun 08, 2008 11:21 pm

Alright folks, here we go with Season 3 - Week 1 Top Ten. New season means a whole new slate. Who made the list this week?

1. Father Lance Goodison
After an incredible victory against Wezzy, Father Lance has retained the CFWA Title, proving once
again, he is the number one man to beat, and therefore the number one man on the Top Ten list.
Tensions and stress continue to haunt Lance, and soon he will have to go head to head with the boss.
This season is promising to be the best in CFWA history, but will it be Last Rites for the padre?

2. Kris Rosin
The GM is close to recapturing the top spot this week, with his impressive Career ending I Quit Match with Baran. Is the GM looking to take back control of the gold? Or is he just reminding everyone in the federation that he is the ultimate authority? We'll find out when he faces Father Lance for the CFWA Title.

3. The Mad Redneck
The Wildcard holder has done it again, retaining his title for the third time against Mask of Fury. The end of an impressive match came when Mad was able to nail Mask with his trademark Beginning of the End. It may have been The End for Mask, but it's Beginning to look like Mad is drawing ever closer to his title shot in the opening week of Season three.

4. Chessman
Check and Mate. That's what it took to take out former Tsunami champion The Management Planner.
In a back and forth bout that could have gone all night, Chessman clinched victory using his skills in logic, timing, and attack. The new Tsunami Champion may not be favored by The Board, but he is definitly on fire starting off the new season.

5.The Management Planner
Call The Board to order, The Planner has fallen. Down 2 spots from last week, The Planner has lost his Tsunami Championship to The Chessman. This unexpected turn of events has The Board in an uproar. Will stocks continue to plummet, or can Planner turn things around? Anything is possible when The Planner is involved.

6. Crime and Punishment
Despite a very controversial ending, the Tag Team Champions John "The Brick" Rose and Karze, retained their titles. Although it was outside interference caused by The Impact Players that lead to the victory, there is no doubt that the champs were giving it their all against Twin Dragons. The tag teams anomosity continues to build as we lead into Tag Team Turmoil next week.

7. Wild Winter Sanderson
And a chill filled the arena this week, as Winter was successful against his cold weather nemesis Frosty Chillingsworth. Sanderson has been making himself known all around the locker room, ringside, and even the gift shop. Starting off Season three with a bang, and looking forward to the future, it may very well be a cold season for us all.

8. Sniper
Heartbreak seems to continue for Sniper with another loss this week against The Neck, Sniper swears he has victory locked and loaded in his sights. Let's see how he fares against his next prey.

9. The Neck
Wear a helmet. The Neck is out to split your head wide open, as was the case in his match this week
against Sniper. Taking out the former Tsunami Champion, and his recent altercations with Chessman,
you have to wonder if The Neck is looking to challenge for The Gold, and end the game once and for
all for Chessman.

10. Impact Players - last week:
Living up to their names, the team of Somahkawahho and Liberty Rock certainly made their presence
known this week. Aside from being the cause of controversey in the tag title picture, both men walked away with impressive singles victories as well. Soma defeated Neo, and Liberty took out Night Thunder. This team has proven alone, or allied, no one will stand in their way.

Honorable Mentions:

Mask of Fury - Despite a loss this week in his shot against The Wildcard holder, Mask of Fury has proven to the fans that he will not go down. Bouncing back from his loss, he is already preparing for his next
match against newcomer Timebomb. Can the Luchador return to his winning ways? Or will Timebomb
provide a final countdown?

Tsikenonwaristak - Despite the loss of his two mentors, as well as his tag team partner, Tsiken
has still retained his focus, defeating ArcAngel Gabriel this past week. Where will the season take
this tragedy ridden competitor next? Time will tell.

Amen and Manogre - Amen managed to pick up the win this week as the rookies collided, however
Manogre is quickly becoming a fan favorite. Only a matter of time before one of these men breaks
into the top ten.

The Dragon Twins - The new tag team on the block were robbed during their tag title bout, but this
young team have a chance to regain their honor when Tag Team Turmoil puts the belts up for grabs.

Kodiak - Although he continues to impress management with his wrestling ability, continuing his undefeated streak from Season 2, fans however are not taking to "The Big Bear". His lack of interaction with the audience makes fans ask the question Why bother to care.
