try to have the voting open for more than an hour or two before its locked. to give people with jobs in the USA a chance to vote at it.

you know. for just in case you have multiple people voting a diferent way and all of a sudden its a tie.

As far as I remember Cory noticed that every poll lasts 24 hours..
And if one of the persons in the poll have 5 more then the other one, he wins.

What so wrong about that system?

I think it is a very effective system

ok. lets say in theory. voting opens at 6pm EST
and i get 4 people together we all log in at that same time, and all vote same guy immiediately at 6pm EST

Bam. Votes over. no one else can vote. period, end of discussion. fuck the other 35 guys in fed. and i intentionally swear there.
thats whats wrong with that.

I just don't think its valid to give an Advantage to people who don't work jobs, are still in highschool, or live in a country where the time voting opens is more convenient around their work schedule/life.

especially if its an automatic 5 votes ends it.

I can understand first one to 10, if its landslide one direction or another...

and I can understand voting closed, and 1 side has more votes than the other.

Oh yearh, have never seen it that way..
So maybe Cory should raise it to 10?
Well! You got my vote on the suggestion.
But in a perfect world there would be no "you got 10 points more then the other guy, you win" or anything But the world isn't quite perfect.. But Cory, SC actually has a good point.

Well some of the polls are very close and some are "breakaways" so they need to be closed.
