History of the Wild Card

During a Press Conference on August 4, 2008 the Wild Card was retired after the new that Chillingsworth had sustained major injuries during a match with The Mad Redneck. Another motive to retire the Wild Card could be the making of the CFWA Pipeline Championship which was announced right after the the Wild Card was retired.
