All Star Game Poem
Oh how, I ring the bells, ring the bells in shame
as our pitcher, 'Lights Out Lidge' we called him,
someone called him a savior,
when only Lidge was his name,
went to the mound
and now because of his performance,
I feel like sticking my head,
in the ground. Oh someone save me,
Oh yes, the winner from last night,
went up to the wee plate and smiled,
waving to the crowd, with no fright,
and all in all, he hit a fly ball,
it went back and back
and it nearly cleared,
over the right field Yankee Stadium wall
but the fielder caught it and threw,
and the runner just so,
happened to be faster
than Red Sox outfielder JD Drew,
he ran and he ran
with all of his might,
The National League watched as,
the throw came in good and all right,
and with his slide at home plate,
the runner, oh yes that American League runner,
had ended the all star game night.

Enjoy this bad poem, coming from a wee bit mad National League fan who wrote this to solve his anger. Maybe it will solve other's angers, too? I don't know, enjoy my sad attempt at a poem though.
