Too much of a challenge? Empty Too much of a challenge?

Manogre is walking back from the gym when he notices a poster on the wall. On it, there is a picture of Amen doing his trademark "Amen" to manogre, taken a while back. Manogre in his shame grabs the poster and rips it into tiny pieces. As the bits drop to the floor he shakes his head, remembering the losing streak he had when he first joined the federation.

...A few days pass...

The bitter end starts to play and the green limo begins its short drive to the ring. Many lights go off around the arena and fireworks wizz past the audience as they boo and chant "you suck." Manogre gets out and puts a hand up, as green and purple flames spurt from the turnbuckles.

Now I've been hearing a lot of speculation that I am not title material, and never will be. Over the past few days I've been doing a lot of thinking and I've realised that I am currently at a wall, and I actualy agree with my critics on this one, for I went out of the pipeline not long ago and would have classes myself as one of the favourites, not only because I was amongst the most experienced, to take part, but also because I have the most style and flare, not seen by any of the other wrestlers who took part.

So theres my dilema! After checking in at rehab I realised that theres nothing in this world that means more to me than Cobalt Flood, yet no gold around my waist is just adding to my frustration, and my frustration leads to unneccesary agression and clumsyness in the ring, which leads to more time without gold around my waist! You get where I'm going with this? Come on course you do!

manogre pauses for a moment as the crowd dull down their booing. He rubs his hands through his hair and lets out a deep sigh...

Now, back to the issue at hand, I need to prove to myself that I am still capable of what I have trained my life to do. I am a submission specialist, and as far as I see it I am amongst the best of the best. To make me feel better, to maybe prove myself and the critics wrong, to add to the glory that is manogre! I am offering a challenge to the wrestlers here tonight, for a one-on-one submission match. Maybe making someone tap out will get me a toe hold in this wall that I have to climb past!

There is a slight pause as manogre looks to the stage to see who is up for the challenge. The pause, however, is cut short as Joe Satriani "Seven Strings" comes on and Amen walks onto the stage.

Lee: well this is a shocker, one person Manogre possibly did not want as a steping stone on the wall to getting back on track. As far as the records show, Manogre is yet to beat Amen in any contest here on CFWA.

Williams: I know Lee, but lets also remember that Amen has lost a few matches here on CFWA and isn't invinsible. Plus with a big title shot coming up against our Tsunami champion John "the brick" Rose, this could be the momentum Amen needs before he goes into New Beginnings.

Lets here what Amen has to say...

As Seven Strings by Joe Satriani goes off Amen is handed a microphone by his trainer. He smiles to Manogre before pointed with a finger right at himself. Amen nods and makes a smooth move with his left hand making the arena almost silent. He takes the microphone up to his mouth and starts;

You remember me Manogre? Amen, the guy you could never beat at anything? We had three matches and you lost them all three! Big time! But as I sat backstage hearing you blabber your usual boring blabber... I realized how we both have grown over all this time. And I decided because I am such a good guy, to give you kind of a rematch. And now that you have posted a challenge to anyone on the roster, I accept it. But yet, it would be boring to just have a match without nothing more. So I did like to add a little wager to it; Should I win, then should you kiss my feet! Right in that ring!

Amen points at the ring and a mixed reactions comes from the crowd. But after a short time a chant of 'Amen' works up before Amen makes another smooth move with the hand. Just not at same good effect as the last one.

But... If you win, you can decide a wager on whatever you want. Sounds good? Or are you still afraid of me for that beating I gave you at our ol' PPV match? Remember? It was even a submission grapple I won on there. And do you know what? If you accept I will end this match the same way... With a brain squeezer.

Amen points to the titatron on which a clip is shown of Amen winning the PPV with Manogre locked in a brain squeezer. Shortly after Manogre did tap out on the clip it turns off and Amen smiles again to Manogre.

So, what do you say? Do you want to fight me again? Or will you run away and cry your eyes out in your old crappy limo?

first of all Amen my limo is not old, it is classy. Green coating on a car IS stylish I will let you know! And because my best selling rock record makes it so that I can actualy afford to go around drinking champagne in it, you should be the one kissing my feet, wanting me to give you a ride in it!

The crowd boo

second of all, if I do remember rightly, there has been a lot of growth in seperate directions between you and me. Since we last faught I have been training harder at my submissions, my endurance, and my ability to break out of any moves you get me into, so unless you've developed an aliance with someone backstage who's gonna come on out and earn you a free foot snog off yours truely, a submission match will be mine in the bag!

The crowd start chanting "we want foot snog"

Finaly! FINALY, if I win, I get to be number one contender against you at the next pay-per-view, provided you win the Tsunami title at new beginnings.

The crowd are stunned,

Williams: its a risky move there by manogre lee, if he loses he humiliates himself, if he wins and Amen loses at new beginnings then manogre has earned nothing, yet if both manogre wins, and amen beats the brick, manogres just earned himself a shot at gold...

what dya say?

I am pretty sure your limo is old... And classy? Hah! I wonder if there even is something inside or a motor. Because let us face it Manogre, the only limo you could afford would be a Flintstones limo. And best selling rock record? Maybe in Asian where they are small dwarfs who likes bad music. Realize it Manogre, the only thing worse then your music is your looks. And that says something

Mixed reactions from the crowd but a small chant of 'Manogre sucks' is heard.

No no no... You got it aaaall wrong there Manogre! Yes, we have been growing in seperate directions. Me up, you down. And do you really think you can break any of my moves? Maybe you can break some of them, but that is because I am more like a smash 'n' crash guy. So you can just try and even if you break one of my moves. You will never break my famous Nerve Pinch.

Amen takes the microphone in his left hand and taps on his thumb with the ring and middle finger to taunt Manogre.

And why should I get someone from the backstage when I can do it all myself? I am not a sore loser like you. So if anyone comes out and helps me, it is because they do it by themself. And as anyone on the roster probably hates you, I would not be suprised if I got a little help.

Amen smiles to his soon to be opponent then turns around. He sinks his head as he hears what Manogre is saying. Should he risk his shot at the belt? Carlos begins to talk Amen from the match and shortly after Amen begins to walk slowly at the backstage. But in last second he turns around and points at Manogre.

You got it!

Amen starts a count down on his fingers before he points to the titantron. On the titantron a clip is started where Amen is putting serverly opponents out with his three finishers. As an 'Amen, Amen, Amen' chant starts The Gospel Warrior turns around and leaves the stage.
